WHO WE ARE

The company TUG Africa Railways – TAR – is the Pan-African Railway Operator set up to link Africa, country-by-country, coastline-by-coastline. At inception, TAR originates its Railway services from Nigeria linking the country’s commercial capital, political capital, and energy capital by Rail and Intermodal networks. It links Nigeria’s largest population centers with other Urban and Rural locations. TAR transports passengers on domestic routes connecting 7 states in Nigeria currently. International routes shall commence soon to Togo, Benin Republic, Ghana, Niger, Chad, and Cameroun. TAR moves a wide range of products across the country in a way that minimizes the effect on the environment, takes traffic off an already congested highway system, and minimizes fuel consumption and transportation costs.
